Thanks Colin Powell

Yesterday I was invited to attend a series of lectures featuring General Colin Powell.

I wanted to thank General Powell for a fantastic speech and for some insights on leadership that will stay with me forever. The idea that you lead by giving your followers the tools and training they need to succeed is something that every aspiring leader should learn. I especially loved his assertion that if you fail to provide tools and training that you will be seen as a phony. Credibility comes from reliability.
