How Google is Reinventing the Computer

In my book, Nearly Free IT, I predicted that soon we would see a major change in how computers worked. I argued that most people use their computers just to get onto the internet. Therefore, future operating systems will be all about getting you connected to the Cloud.

I am happy to say that Google has proven me right.

This video explains about Google's Chrome Operating System and how it will revolutionize how computers work.

Chrome OS will not be available until late 2010. Google just released a Beta version for tech-types to start poking at. I'll let you know more after I've had a good look at it.

Any questions?
