We all love a great story. Movies, theater, novels, television are all just storytellers.
All great teachers are storytellers. We all had a teacher we remember fondly. I remember Professor Charles "Skip" Cox who made history come alive in his classroom. He wove tales of high adventure that made the dusty ghosts of history live again.
Stories are how we pass along knowledge and wisdom. Stories are how we transmit culture and shared experiences. They are valuable tools for instruction. Think of Aesop's Fables or other ancient morality tales.
Now, weave some of that magic into your marketing. Understand the power of parables. Instruct through stories that are relevant and valuable to your target audience.
If you do it well, they will love you.
