The computer security companies have been having a field day ratcheting up the hype about the Conficker worm due to strike on April 1st. First of all, if your computer is up-to-date on all updates and patches and you are running good anti-virus software, you are probably perfectly fine.
If you have been infected, you can download and run
TrendMicro's Conflicker cleaner.
