Definitely some interesting strategies in this book. However, I wouldn't be willing to risk my business credibility with some of the more "off-the-wall" ideas. There are some very useful ideas here. The book is much more than just a marketing book though, however their policy of "pray for publicity" is not very wise. All-in-all it is worthy of making the cut and getting included on the blog. If you are interested in gimmicky marketing, this book is a great start for you. Just remember, any ideas presented have probable been done to death so put on your thinking cap and figure out a new twist.
