Google vs. Malware

Google is using the cloud to fight malware.

Recently, we found some unusual search traffic while performing routine maintenance...we determined that the computers exhibiting this behavior were infected with a particular strain of malicious software, or “malware.” As a result of this discovery, today some people will see a prominent notification at the top of their Google web search results...

What's interesting about this new initiative from Google is that they are leveraging the power of their private cloud to identify malware infections. Could this be a component of my probiotic computer viruses? By identifying and targeting suspicious Internet traffic, we can take a big step towards better protection from malicious software.
