Book Review: The Conquest of Gaul

What the hell is a book by Julius Caesar doing on this list? Simple. I remember originally try to read this book in Junior High Latin class. I have since re-read it and I have ocme to realize that Caesar fully displays his genius in this book. First, his military brilliance is unquestioned. More importantly, Caesar details how he treated, rewarded and punished his men to build a fanatical fighting force that was loyal to him to the death. If you want to learn how to inspire that kind of loyalty in your employees, learn from Caesar.
